Hazelnut Wanliss Pride

Description: Large round brown nuts enclosed within a thin shell, grown in clusters. Also known as American White.
Maturity: Late February to early March
Pollinators: Cosford. Although both male and female flowers are borne on the same tree, they don’t always flower at the same time. Planting different varieties will assist with pollination.
Tree Care: Plant in a sunny position with well drained and well worked soil. Take care to plant the bud union above the soil level. Water in well and keep soil moist until tree is established. Fertilise when planting and again after new growth appears. Prune tree when planting to encourage new growth.
